Lovely hotel on the river

Liked: Fantastic position and good parking, great river view from bedroom, tasty breakfast, lovely staff particularly Kieran who checked us in and also served on at breakfast with the most professional approach.
Disliked: Noticed a slight smell of dogs in bedroom and the beef sandwich was very disappointing with a thin slice of poor quality beef.

Liked: Lovely location. Clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. The staff were really friendly and very helpful.

Disliked: Exposed walk between the main building and annex ((when it was raining). Lack of choice at breakfast. Shortage of PowerPoints and non-existence of usb charging points. Shower over bath with broken on/off switch.

Overall, a very nice couple...

Liked: Excellent location. A very pleasant stay. No complaints at all except for a couple of things listed below.
Disliked: The bar has an unnecessary one-way system which is not always enforced by the staff - not very nice to see the odd person get served instantly when I've been waiting in line for over 5 minutes !The cook doesn't understand the concept of " fish & chips ". At £18 a throw I expect more than a few chips with a tiny piece of fish which looked like a fish-finger on hunger strike. The combined fish from my meal and that of my friend didn't even manage to constitute one cheap fish !
