Bit disappointing for 4 people...

Liked: Location is good. Quiet and beautiful nature outlook. Close to Thames township -3.5 kms - for Steampunk events this weekend. Attractive, good quality bedding and an adequate facecloth, hand towel and bathtowel for each guest. Shower was good - easily adjustable temperature, plenty of hot water and good pressure for the 2 out of 4 guests who used it. The other 2 paid with coins for showers in the outside toilet block. Fairly well equipped kitchen. Good to have a table & seats for snacks & meals.Little outside porch is attractive and handy.
Disliked: Single bed I slept on for 2 nights in living area ( just inside the ranchslider) was not very comfortable unfortunately. Last year I slept in the bedroom in the very same bungalow - that bed was much more comfortable. Was a bit surprised to find out that we would need to pay more money for servicing our room or fresh towels etc.Needed 1-2 bedside lights on the wooden wall above the "twin" beds in the living area. Main overhead light in living area is too bright if one or 2 guests want to go to bed earlier than the other(s).Toaster went on the "blink" before we finished our stay this year.Prices seem to have gone up a lot since last year. My 2 friends weren't very happy with what they got for their share of the cost of the accommodation - total of nearly $700 for 4 people for 2 nights this year 2024.I therefore can not recommend this your largest bungalow for 4 people as it is too small & access to the toilet is difficult for at least 2 out of 4 people - especially at night so 2 of us used the outside toilets in the toilet block at night. Last year 2 of us stayed in the very same bungalow & it worked out as much more comfortable & quite a lot cheaper!

Charming venue in a green...

Liked: Staff were really helpful and kind - stayed up for my late arrival. Cute caravan. Clean and well-maintained. Comfy bed and nice clean, good quality bedding. Lovely site in a green valley, nice resources - pool, mini-golf, aviary of budgies, ducks and ducklings around. Easy parking beside the caravan.
Disliked: It's a bit further out from town than most accommodation, but that was no problem as I had a car.Caravan had very light curtains - though they were very pretty.
