Lovely getaway

Liked: Lovely cottage. Beautiful location in bush by a creek. Short drive to town or nice walk beside the creek. Enjoyed the use of the shelter by the creek where we ate dinner and saw platypuses.

Love this place, we will...

Liked: Everything, owners were helpful, lovely, the place is a real find. Lovely for groups, plenty of outdoor spots to enjoy. Really looking forward to going back another time.

A meticulously provided country accommodation...

Liked: The accommodation was by way of cabins/cottages. They were very well-furnished and appointed with everything required. Each provided their own sense of privacy and feeling of rural seclusion. It is a lovely setting leading down to the river. It has a very well set out common barbecue/ dinner / picnic area beside the river. While clearly a country setting, it is still a very short drive into Stanthorpe.
Disliked: Nothing I could think of!

Wonderful spot that feels like...

Liked: The cottage was lovely and very comfortable with all we needed for a short stay. But for us, it was the location/grounds that made it extra special. Taking a walk by the creek first thing in the morning was magical with the sounds of everything coming to life. And spotting the kangaroo complete with joey in it's pouch was special.Although we didn't really use it, the pioneer hut offered extra space for socialising or barbecuing.
