Lovely hotel; great value; pleasant staff and very helpful; close to all areas of interest.

Liked: Great service from staff - quick check in.
Disliked: Very thin walls in rooms - can hear everything next door.

Can't praise the staff enough. We arrived and were running late to get to an appointment and they couldn't have been more helpful. The staff at breakfast were also very pleasant and helpful.

Liked: The room was clean and bright. Plenty fluffy towels and enough mirrors and light for getting ready. TV was a fine size, and plenty channels to choose from.
Disliked: Noise from the room above. A lot of banging into the early hours - walls felt quite thin

Liked: I liked nothing tbh staff were horrible the room was horrible
Disliked: On arrival treated like crap the room had no lights the TV control was broke and opened the curtains and s en 2 rats running around outside it was a horrible experience I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone

No longer has on-site parking...

Liked: Well placed for Kelvingrove Museum and local restaurants.
Disliked: Only one receptionist so had to wait to check in while he served half a dozen people at the bar.Small basement room.No longer has on-site parking, so had to move the car from the front of the hotel at 8am.

Perfect for my short stay....

Liked: Picked this hotel as it looked close to the ovo hydro. Was a perfect location, just a 10 minute walk. room was the perfect size and was very clean. Room just the right temperature, and the staff were lovely

Good location but horrendous nights...

Liked: The location was great for what we needed.
Disliked: We were in room number 22 right next to the housemaids pantry. I’ve got to say it was an awful nights sleep, so much noise up and down the corridor and people going in and out of the pantry next door all night long.3am, 4am. It was constant noise throughout the night. Sleep was somewhat impossible.
