Lovely hotel; great value; pleasant staff and very helpful; close to all areas of interest.

Liked: Great service from staff - quick check in.
Disliked: Very thin walls in rooms - can hear everything next door.

Can't praise the staff enough. We arrived and were running late to get to an appointment and they couldn't have been more helpful. The staff at breakfast were also very pleasant and helpful.

Disliked: Decor a little bit tired but in the process of upgrading.

Liked: The bed was nice and clean, clean towels, plenty of toilet rolls. Quiet during the night.
Disliked: The room was clean apart from the random nail on the carpet and the picture frame had some dust on it. The TV was switching itself off while I was watching film.

Liked: It’s a perfect location if you are on a short trip, key places to visit a walking distance and numerous food choices and bus connections is not even a minute away.
Disliked: It is not have a USB connection to charge phone and reception did not have a spare plug to give us.

Liked: I’m cabin crew so stay in a lot of hotels and I couldn’t fault this place. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and professional staff, fantastic location (free on street parking at weekends) and the cooked breakfast was top notch. I was really impressed all round, especially with it being one of the cheaper offerings.
Disliked: Nothing to do with the hotel itself, just other guests being inconsiderate by letting doors slam at 7am on a Sunday and knocking on doors asking “are you awake?!” loudly to the other people in their party. It’s 2025 - have you not got phones to call each other?!

Good value for money

Liked: Clean, good location, nice staff
Disliked: Room difficult to keep warm/ cool. Key for my room was given to another guest resulting in them walking into my room.
