Very cool hotel in the...

Liked: Very cool hotel in the heart of downtown Detroit. Walkable to Ford Field/Comerica Park. Former Fire Station with super cool lobby and excellent restaurant and funky/cool/comfortable rooms. Great experience and would very happily stay again.
Disliked: Had some noisy neighbors one night, but knocked on the door and asked them to chill out--they did.

Disliked: The room was spare, no amenities, no coffee. the bed was tired and the sheets seemed wrinkled. the room lighting was horrible, either dark or 1 glaring light. It's one of those hotels where the investment in the common areas is not echoed in the rooms.

Liked: Location is good. Bar area very cool.
Disliked: Way over priced for a 4-5 star hotel. No coffee, housecoats or even shower cap in room. Bed was not great. Apparently they are refurbishing next year

Disliked: valet parking was rather expensive compared to competitors.
