Disliked: Would have liked to open a window, Howe it was screwed shut

Liked: Good location, close to all local amenities. Note they no longer have a restaurant on site. the hotel is b&b only

Fantastic room, facilities, and location.

Liked: The room was great as was the lobby and breakfast, it’s easy to access and the staff were all fantastic.
Disliked: It’s not that I didn’t like it but there was obviously some major repairs ongoing in the hallways but some of these looked like they have been ongoing for some time.

I would definitely stay there...

Liked: The beds were comfortable, the location perfect, breakfast was really tasty as well!
Disliked: They were doing construction so the hallway appearance wasn’t great but didn’t bother our sleep or anything that mattered.

Bergen hotel

Liked: Beautiful wood building restored into a hotel, breakfast is fantastic, great selection of choices
Disliked: Still some renovations ongoing, public areas should have really been cleared of boxes to maintain the high standard of the finished areas.

Absolutely brilliant location, totally recommend

Liked: Quirky & charming but with all modern facilities
Disliked: The only oddity was there was no socket for the kettle plug so had to place it on the floor. For some people the lack of a restaurant might be a problem though the breakfast was super - there are so many restaurant near to the hotel, spoilt for choice
