A bit dated accomodation which...

Liked: Located in a quiet area of Christchurch. Breakfast was a bit limited, but still tasty with various options to choose from. The hosts were very friendly and gave interesting sight seeing tips. The room is quite dated, but serves the purpose.
Disliked: Bed had a pretty hard mattress. Investment in a better bed would be recommended. Bathroom area is too small for two people to be in simultaneously. Bed side table only at one side of the bed due to the limited size of the bedroom.

Liked: Great location - 5 mins walking distance to different food options, bus stop and petrol station Lovely hosts - made us feel welcome and at homeCosy bedroom and yummy breakfast! They also have a few cats who live here which is really nice for us cat people :) Would love to stay here again when we have the chance

Lovely hosts in a lovely...

Liked: The hosts really make this property, they were so friendly and really accommodating (on Christmas Day!) when we were going to be late arriving for breakfast which we were so grateful for. The room was big with a comfy bed and had a lovely bathroom with a great shower. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again :)

Liked: My second stay at Designer Cottage was just a memorable and enjoyable as the first. I had a great stay and enjoyed the breakfast immensely (especially the great company). Would definitely use again when visiting Christchurch!

Liked: The breakfast was perfect and accompanied by great conversation. Chet and Steve were exceptionally courteous and knowledgeable of Christchurch, had a great stay and would not hesitate to visit again in future.
