Liked: We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Der Schwan for one night during our journey from Berlin to Milan, and it was truly a delightful experience. Traveling with my mother and our dog, we were warmly welcomed upon arrival, even though we were delayed due to traffic. The staff’s hospitality was outstanding, ensuring we felt right at home from the moment we walked in.What stood out the most was how dog-friendly this hotel is. Not only was our dog greeted with kindness, but we were also allowed to bring him along to breakfast, which made our stay even more comfortable and stress-free. Speaking of breakfast, it was absolutely delicious, with a variety of high-quality options.The hotel itself is stunning, with a charming ambiance and beautifully designed interiors. Our room was cozy, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, providing the perfect space to relax after a long drive.From the excellent service to the attention to detail, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. If you’re looking for a welcoming and stylish place, Hotel Der Schwan is an absolute gem. Highly recommended!

Liked: Good location - easy to find.Our room had old furniture, which we loved! The mattress was great. Bathroom was modern and roomy.Staff was very friendly. Loved the breakfast buffet.Had the option to decline maid service (in exchange for a free drink at the bar, which we chose not to get).Ate dinner at the restaurant twice, and it was delicious!
Disliked: I believe it was stated that there was free parking, which implies the hotel has it's own parking area (in my mind).This was not the case. Yes, parking was free, but on the street nearby or a block away.
