Nice family hotel

Liked: The hotel and staff were good. However, in spite of checking in the night before and giving our arrival time as 4 p.m the 2 rooms were not readyThe rooms were clean and comfortable and the house keepers were friendly and helpful.It is a nice hotel in a handy pedestrianised location in Whistler and we did enjoy our stay.
Disliked: It seems some people are being given late check outs which is not giving housekeeping time to prepare the rooms for the incoming guests We were staying for 4 nights, we have Marriott membership and had checked in the night before and given our arrival time.One of the rooms was not ready until 5.30 which, with a 2 year old, was frustrating. We did have access to the pool but they would not give the key to my 23 year old grandson when the room was finally ready so I had to traipse through the hotel covered in towels to collect it as some of the family needed the roomsOne room had a much larger balcony than the other and, had we known, would have put the 2 year old in the room with the restricted, smaller balcony
