We had a great stay. The employees were all very nice. The gym had good cardio equipment. The bed and the pillows in the room were so comfortable. There are a lot of hotels in the area to choose from, and we definitely picked the right place.

Liked: The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel.

Disliked: Halls smelled like weed, breakfast was stale and over priced, staff could have been nicer, parking fees

Liked: The staff was incredibly awesome and helpful.
Disliked: They only had one working elevator while hosting players for a national hockey tournament. The working elevator was so slow that most people opted to use the stairs to claim 6 flights. That's a lot of work for hockey players carrying their heavy gear bags. Their pull out beds are twin sized which is very disappointing.

Disliked: I didn't like waiting for elevator, they have two elevators and one was broken and that one that worked was really slow.

Liked: It was right down the street from the dance competition my daughter was in and it had a pool.
Disliked: It was dirty, the staff was unpleasant. We got charged on booking to get free breakfast at the venue but they refused to honor it. The mini fridge did not work and either did the thermostat

Superior staff amidst a snowstorm

Liked: The room was good sized and the bed was comfortable. The hotel's staff was outstanding. I was able to extend my room stay so that my friend who was snowed in did not end up in the cold. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, making arrangements without any issue. The cleaning staff was very good too, as they quickly responded to as concern my colleague had regarding a stain on the bathroom door.
Disliked: All things considered, I felt that the Booking.com price was high. My original two-night stay in downtown Utica was roughly $500. Given when I booked, I thought I'd be able to get a better price.I also found the cost for snacks to be exorbitant. I bought a small container of cranberry juice and two cookies and it cost me $5.25! I should have stocked up at Dollar Tree, Dollar General, or Family Dollar before heading to Utica!
