Beautiful place , needs better...

Liked: Beautiful spot on the harbour. Great restaurant with jazz and scenery.
Disliked: Housekeeping has issues. Did not make up room despite several calls and promises?Only leaves 1 caffeinated coffee in room for the coffee maker ? Gotta split it with the wife ??

Overbooked and bumped

Liked: Location
Disliked: Hotel was overbooked. I got in at midnight and no room at the inn even though I'd booked 9 months earlier. Had to stay at another hotel.

Nice location but pricey

Liked: The location was nice being close to the waterfront. We were able to walk from our event which was downtown to the hotel easily.
Disliked: The price. We were placed in a room that had barely a window, and the small window it had had a horrible view of the roof/ mechanical area. Crazy they place people in these rooms and charge $300+ a night for that… thankfully I was able to move to a room with a bit better of a view but still pricey all things considered.

Liked: Nothing. I will not stay at this hotel again.
Disliked: The front desk staff totally ignored the line waiting for checking in with one young lady at the front desk, but another lady/manager was sitting in the office/room by the front desk.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful...

Liked: Everything, including the free jazz band playing in the restaurant -lobby in the one evening. The gym was actually a great size with good equipment and not just cardio machines.
Disliked: For the price I was a bit disappointed that breakfast was not included or that there was no swimming pool. Fairly common offer with most hotels, yet that’s twice I notice that Marriott’s more exclusive hotels offer less for more money.

Liked: The receptionist Noah was very friendly and welcoming. The room is clean and nice.
Disliked: The hotel is ok, but not wow. I paid $360, but there was no slippers, no bathrobes. For some reason the alarm clock woke me up twice at 6 am and at 6.09. It was not nice at all. We are driving from Nova Scotia to Alberta and need a good rest... The hotel didn't provide any discount for the discomfort.
