Liked: Beautiful setting, historic building. Comfortable beds and outstanding breakfast.
Disliked: I had requested non-feather pillows at the time of booking due to allergies. I had received an acknowledgement of this request and an assurance that this would be actioned. Upon arrival I noted the room had feather pillows. The phone in my room didn’t work so I walked to reception to request they were changed, 3 hours later no alternative pillows. I had to go to reception again, this time at 10.15pm and wait more than 20 minutes for the pillows. No-one seemed remotely concerned that the error could result in a severe allergic reaction. The rooms at this hotel are now very tired and in need of updating.

Liked: The venue was beautiful, we where down for a wedding a round the corner and couldn't of picked a better hotel in the area.
Disliked: Prices of the drinks in the bar, the food was very reasonably priced but I found the drinks very over priced. £8.50 for a bottle of cider extremely high.

Liked: Checking in staff were polite and pleasant. Waiting staff need a bit more customer service training. No heating all weekend. Not much hot water. Boiler fixed on check out. Some very loud guests.
