Great staff, amazing food, good...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent, great range of options, good quality food, wonderful staff, really impressed. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was also very good. Staff on site at both reception and the restaurant were excellent.
Disliked: The facilities in the bathrooms are quite dated and in some cases, problematic. Shower did not fit the shower grip, so turning on the water made it jump out of the holder. Rooms were nice and clean, but felt like they could use a bit of an update.

Awful customer service

Liked: The breakfast had a good collection
Disliked: Our check in time was 2pm. We arrived at 8pm and the room we were given was dirty with bottles everywhere, trash in bathroom, sheets not changed. It took them an hour to get the room ready for us. We waited in the corridor while my children sat on the floor. There was no apology or customer service provided. The manager did not think anything of the situation. Didnt offer us a place to wait while the room was being cleaned. The next day we told the reception that the AC wasn't working, we were told they would provide with a portable AC, never happened. We were told our invoice would be emailed, never happened. Very disappointing. We will never choose a Delta or Marriott again. Doesn't deserve a 4 star!

We had a very good...

Liked: Great location and we used the tram every day to travel into Edinburgh. Beds were comfortable.
Disliked: The room looked a bit tired and needs some attention. For example, rusting around the mirror, signs of wear and tear around the door frames. The pool was also rather cold!

Family Trip.

Liked: Great staff, made to feel welcome. Also they left a lovely gift for our sons birthday. Super location near the trams.Clean,modern, and comfortable hotel.Good bar food and service. Super breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will return.
Disliked: Nothing.
