Clean; comfortable bed; good sized room; complimentary upgrade on arrival for our anniversary. Great hotel, will definitely be back again.

Liked: Close to city centre for shopping and restaurants. Gym was excellent
Disliked: The bed was a standard double, we expected king size. Breakfast was expensive.

I would have slept better...

Liked: We were travelling with our children and the rooms were very close as requested. The rooms were clean and had the amenities we needed.
Disliked: The mattress in our room was so firm - it felt like sleeping on a plank. The duvet was also very thin ... all in all, a very uncomfortable night's sleep.

Liked: Good looking, spacious room with great views over the city.The concierge, Andrea, was a lovely man. Made us feel very welcomed.
Disliked: The exterior of the hotel looks a bit old and dirty. Some freshen up would do justice to the high standard interiors.

Liked: Spacious rooms with views over Castle Park. Nice executive lounge with tapas style food and drinks. Excellent staff, friendly and welcoming.

Liked: You really can't argue at the price for the quality of service, location, cleanliness and comfort. Breakfast was varied and generous, all staff were friendly, especially those in the bar and restaurant.
Disliked: The renovated rooms still bear the marks of a hotel that has seen better days (some fittings broken, huge air conditioning unit etc) but it was calm and comfortable and welcoming and I'd definitely return. The only thing I didn't like was having to pay the full £17 a day for 4 days parking, when we'd arrived in the evening and left before 9am.
