In all honestly, the price...

Liked: The view of the river was nice and the food at the lobby bar was good(except it was a brand new menu and the servers couldn’t tell you anything about the food)
Disliked: My room was dirty, the phone didn’t work, there’s no info in the room on when anything ia open or what time they close at. My room was supposed to be to be cleaned during my massage in the spa(it wasn’t) the massage was like really not good and she kept apologizing for being 15 minutes late to the point it was annoying having to say it’s ok. I asked her not to touch or go near my tattoo as it’s new on my inner arm and she kept scratching it even after I asked her again to not. The room was so dry my nose plugged up and I couldn’t swallow I had to stop the massage and ask for water so I could breathe better. She put a nice hot towel on my back to wipe it off afterwards then used the same now cold and scratchy towel to wipe my legs and it was such a disgusting feeling and she could have just grabbed another towel. Her clothes were loose and scratchy rubbing on my back and the sensory was not relaxing at all. I reminded her 4 times I was only there for relaxing purposes and she still forgot and hurt my back running her knuckles over my ribs. Without better training and practice they need to stop offering and lymph/facial/ scalp massage because they have no clue what they’re doing. She plugged my lymphnodes in my neck and I had to teach her how to drain, she padded my face and head and called that a massage and she did not wash her hands between the massage and putting her oily hands in my hair or on my face. She gave me an extra 15 minutes of a not good massage to say sorry.I went back to my room and it still was dirty with food on the floor, spilled pop in the fridge and dust/ other peoples hair on the desk so I called down and asked them yet again and they said they did send someone but they’ll send someone again at this point it’s now 7pm and they sent a man up that asked me what needed to be cleaned instead of just cleaning the room cause you could bluntly see what needed to be done.

Liked: Staff was very friendly.. No issues checking in or out.
Disliked: First of all, the cost of the room for the quality of the hotel is outrageous. This used to be one of my favourite places to stay in the city. I will never go again. The room was shabby and did not have any coffee maker or clean glasses. The room was dirty and the worst part was the fan that was so loud it was like being in a helicopter - I had to "sleep" with a pillow over my head to drown out the noise and woke up dried out and coughing. It was a terrible stay. From the dirty glasses to the unclean desk, tv stand - I was absolutely appalled at the amount of money I spent. The cheaper hotels are the way to go apparently. They at least renovate and stay up to date with their rooms.

Liked: The spacious one-bedroom suites are well-kept. The hotel is a landmark in the city, and the views overlooking the Saskatchewan River are beautiful.
Disliked: Outdoor Parking is expensive!

Beautiful building, ok rooms, not...

Liked: I love historic properties, this is an absolutely gorgeous building. What a beautiful piece of history. Also right downtown which is super convenient.
Disliked: Rooms need updating. TV is from 2012, carpet has some stains, beds comfy but nothing special, decor is nice but if you look closely at the edges, corners, etc, she needs cleaning and work.
