Liked: Excellent location. Beautiful and spacious room in a 300 years old aristocratic building. Clean and comfortable. Very nice bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will stay again in our next visit in Lisbon
Disliked: Our room was on the 1st floor but there is no elevator which may be a problem for people staying on the 3rd floor. The water pressure pump is a little noisy but nothing to worry about.

Liked: Our stay at this hotel was truly remarkable, thanks to its perfect location and exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel is perfectly situated. It is close to the train station and many must-visit attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.A special shoutout to the receptionist, Esra, who went above and beyond to assist us, especially with planning our trip from Lisbon to Porto.
Disliked: we did notice that the breakfast items were not replenished as frequently as expected. But overall, really good hotel to stay in.

Disliked: Even though it's an older building, the plumbing in the hotel needs updating - first flush of the toilet and faeces came out through the shower (which it was later insinuated we had caused, and now fully blaming us for the issue).A lot of flies in the room when we entered (no doubt due to the faeces in the room) Appreciate it's near a busy area, but the noise was very loud until midnight.Check in was pretty rigid to 3pm, to the extent we were sat waiting until 3 on the dot then we could check in.Air con was set to heating only which meant the room was very hot - only way to cool down was to open the windows and increase the noise. We also nearly got scammed from the hotel - we were requested via their booking.com account to fill in account details and pay the room, which I was uncomfortable with so got in contact and apparently their account had previously been hacked, which they were well aware of. Would have been helpful to inform people of this risk before waiting for people to be scammed first.
