Liked: The bed was very comfortable, had the best night sleep

Beautiful place, high end finish...

Liked: The setting was beautiful and room was comfortable. The only criticism, room was tiny. No room to store anything and for two people way too cramped. Staff were lovely and we ate in the restaurant which was also excellent.
Disliked: Room size. Very small and too cramped.

Expensive stay with not much...

Liked: Rooms were clean & nicely decorated but with no air con & little ventilation (cable restricted window opening) it was stuffy & smelled dusty. Weird vestibule arrangement meant two doors slamming when neighbours returned at night. Room overlooked car park so much light pollution & noise in the morning, topped off with drivers sitting in the car smoking under the window. Outside the window were cans, bottles & litter. No water in room. No room service. I went to the desk to talk to reception but the guy talked across me to serve another customer. They are big on corporate bookings but not interested in individual guests.

Lovely place to stay but...

Liked: Location is easy to get to and lovely scenery
Disliked: My un marked pick up truck and a window smashed and tools stolen from the rear footwell

We had a lovely one...

Liked: Room - was very comfortable, decorated really and very clean and the bathroom was very nice.Breakfast - a fantastic selection of really nice food, breakfast restaurant was really nice, staff were very helpful.
Disliked: Room - standard double was a little on the small side, it was quite difficult to get round the end of the bed and into the side that I slept on.Restaurant - we checked out on the Sunday morning, we wanted to stay for Sunday lunch but were told we couldn't book into the restaurant as this was for resident guests only.Bar - really good.
