Liked: I didn't stay there. On arrival for check in I was told that the room had flooded and was not available. The proprietor said that Booking.com had sent a message advising me but I did not receive it!? He also refused to credit my booking fee back on my card and said I had to contact yourselves. I have tried several times via your App with no success. I trust I will receive a full refund by return.Many thanks.Robert Booth

In all, I would say...

Liked: I like how close the property is from the kingfisher shopping mall and the town centre. It was soo convenient for me and my girlfriend to get into town just by walking down the hill. We got an upgrade to a super king size bed room and we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again in the future.

Liked: Best thing about the property was the large bed , clean fresh bedding and firm mattress
Disliked: Not the best of neighbourhoods. Beware there is no lift so it’s a steep climb up 2 flights if you have cases. Ultimately this hotel is letting itself down badly in terms of cleanliness. Damp pervaded itself throughout the bathroom, you could smell the damp spores, the walls are dirty and cobwebs are everywhere. Really poor standard of cleanliness. Shame because clearly a lot of the fixtures and fittings are new and modern , there has just been no maintenance of a standard since renovation. Management need to sort urgently .

Liked: Brand-new modern furniture. Great large comfortable bed that sits high. Tv full with programms and apps to login like netflix that you cannot find in very expensive hotels.
Disliked: Very smelly corridors. No heating at all/ you need to ask for portable radiators. There is no lift. No staff to help you with you luggages on the stair in the morning despite there is no lift. Not very safe area. Would be anice upgrade for the refurbished room a mini-fridge in case you would like to stay longer than a day
