Disliked: Everything. took ages for someone to appear at the reception to check us in. the room was dated and dirty. The worst thing was the security - apart from a key to open the room, the rest of the hotel was insecure. At 3am there was a person going up and down the corridor baning on all the doors and shouting to be let in. Noone on reception to deal with it. Tried phoning Days Inn and the phone just kept going dead. Eventually guests managed to get them out. Will never recommend or stay again.

A welcoming place for all...

Liked: As a dog friendly accommodation it met my expectations as I would not have expected top of the range facilities and wouldn't have wanted it. We felt comfortable and home from home and we didn't panic if our dog decided to jump on the bed. Very clean and everything worked as it should. Bed was comfortable, bedding very clean and all made up for our arrival including the sofa bed. Shower was powerful and easy to use. The neighbouring restaurants and shop were handy as there was no restaurant inside the hotel itself. Money off coupons were available too for breakfast. Plenty of parking and lots of security cameras on site made me feel safe and secure to take our dog out for an evening walk. The room was lovely and warm when we entered so the heating worked well, blackout curtains were a bonus too. Apart from the couple of negatives we had a good stay and very little outside noise. Highly recommended for anyone travelling with 4 legged friends.
Disliked: The only negatives were we had to request extra mugs, towels and a fan. Despite booking for a family of 4 there was only 2 of everything and it stated a fan would be in the room, however, the staff were very happy to supply these once we asked. Is the hotel room a little run down.. yes, but it's not offensive and the main features (bed, shower etc) were relatively modern. As a family room it could have been slightly bigger and our biggest issue was no plug sockets close to the beds. Travelling with teenagers, having charging ports for modern devices near the beds would have been really handy as there was no other seating for all 4 people the other side of the room. Scraping the barrel really for negatives when essentially the hotel is mainly somewhere to rest your head and store your travelling items which it did very well.
