Maids knocked on our door at like 9a.m. We didn't have the 'do not disturb' thing on the door but figured they wouldn't even try unless the people actually checked out. They knocked and I said "yes" but they still tried to open the door. Just seemed kinda early and pushy. People do sleep in past 9. Haha! Our key cards never really worked. Went back twice to get new ones and the third time only one card worked and that is only after trying it several times in the door :/ Would be nice if you had the guest binder in the room that had the local restaurants and such if you are not from the area.

If it wasnt for that...

Liked: The cute little front desk sweetie was the best thing there. If it weren't for her and her compassion and sense of humor. I would have definitely left. She went above and beyond expectations. You definitely see the hard work, dedication and drive this young lady puts in at her job. And the best thing is her response to "what other work have you done?" She simply said she's done a variety of different job types but that this job doing exactly what she's doing, right there at the days inn is right where she feels she's supposed to be. She said she's never been happier and thankful to finally have a job she enjoys completely. This young lady looked so outta place at this run down dump. The place is literally falling apart and than you walk in and this little ball of sunshine that changes your whole outlook on your stay.
Disliked: The other staff were rude. And the manager absolutely appalling. Zero professionalism, no customer service skills.

Disliked: The room on second floor face the highway, it is super noisy, the engine is soaring beside you bed. I did not sleep all the night. Their window is bad , useless to stop the noise.

Disliked: The so called breakfast was 3 types of bread, 3 cereals, instant oatmeal, coffee, watery fruit punch. Shower was hard to get on and there was no smoke detector in the room. My father in law was in another room and his shower/tub combo had a hole in the side.
