Liked: Staff were effective, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Location was peaceful,quiet and clean.

Over priced for no amenities...

Liked: Location.
Disliked: TV remote did not work, staff was no help, said they would send someone in the morning to look at it. Pool wasn’t accessible because they “accidentally” drained it.

Comfortable bed but be leery...

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean upon arrival and not outdated. The room had no musky/stale odor like some do.
Disliked: We were the Thursday through Sunday. We didn't have anything other than lukewarm water in the sink or the tub. It didn't matter what time of day you tried to use it. I would expect that maybe if the motel was packed out with guest. But this was never the case. After been on the lake all day in the wind and cold it would have been nice to come in and be able to take HOT bath. Also the room was never checked on while we were there. The towels, trash etc... was never removed or replaced.

Liked: Located beautifully on the water
Disliked: I reserved and paid for the king suite with a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is out of order, and they only have one room with it. The jacuzzi is the only reason I rented from there.

Clean but needs complete Remodel!

Liked: It was clean and the front desk staff was friendly.
Disliked: It is so old and needs a complete remodel. Bed was terrible, one side sloped downward.

Disappointing and wouldn't return. Overpriced....

Liked: Surprised by size of the room. Front office staff was friendly.
Disliked: Dirty and worn down. Room was not very clean and items were left behind by previous guests, including a fish hook in a chair my toddler climbed up into. Hair and dirt on floors and in bathroom, forks on top of fridge, blade handle next to bed. Table was dirty and sticky. No coffee pot. Overpriced for what we got. Definitely not the hotels fault but we were so disappointed that you can't see Lake Okeechobee. Drive around entire lake and the view is blocked entirely by a dike. The whole trip was to see the lake and we didn't really get to see it.
