The room was clean, well...

Liked: The location was fine, it was pretty centrally located in the town. I did not go down for the breakfast as I'd had a difficult time sleeping so I slept in instead.
Disliked: There was an extremely heavy smell of cooked food in the hallway that permeated into my room and was very unpleasant. The smell was so strong that I really think people were cooking in their room in my hallway. Also throughout the night I heard loud noises from either the room adjacent to me or the hallway. It sounded like a heavy item was dropped each time.

If you're a senior and/or...

Liked: Well... the maintenance guys were nice.
Disliked: The first night here we had some very unnecessary drama with the front desk employee that was borderline age and disability discrimination. My senior mother, with mobility issues, was booked in a handicap accessible room, tried to call the front desk for an extra blanket but the phone didn't work. She wheeled herself to the front desk and asked for the blanket, then addressed the phone not working and was told that was intentional, that the phones were just to be used so the front desk could contact them not so that outbound calls could be placed...unusual and potentially unsafe...but ok. She went back to her room and her key wouldn't work. She told the front desk and the front desk employee went to try himself and when it didn't work for him either he kept telling my mom that either someone was in her room and locked the deadbolt (which was NOT the case) or that she somehow locked the deadbolt on her way out...what?! So he had to call maintenance and when the maintenance man came he told my mom it wasn't her fault, many of the locking mechanisms there were "going out" and needing to be replaced. So while this was being fixed the front desk employee called me and told me repeatedly that my mom couldn't stay there alone because she was very very old and in a wheelchair...he said that she had only been there an hour and already had "2 emergencies" and they aren't equipped to continue handling this because it was a holiday week. When I asked what the 2 "emergencies" he was referring to were because I hadn't heard anything from her, he said that she rolled herself out to ask for a blanket (1. NOT an emergency, 2. caused bc THEIR phones don't work) and then locked herself out of her room (which we learned afterwards and were reassured by 2 different maintenance employees was NOT her fault).
