Bad place to stay

Liked: Close to the venue
Disliked: Wasn't clean. There was canned food left in the room and very old, frosted over, food in the freezer. The hair dryer didn't work. A very loud smoke detector like alarm kept going off. The AC unit was very loud. The room wasn't ready 3 hours after it was supposed to be and they tried to give us a room of less value. When we told the person at check out, they just thanked us

Uneasy, uncomfortable, unexpected.

Liked: It was chosen because it was convenient to where we needed to be in the morning.
Disliked: People were smoking pot outside their motel room. One person sitting outside their room said to us they could have gotten a room for us cheaper as we walked to our room. I later learned people were living in motel rooms through FEMA. I would have preferred to have known this information so I could have chosen a different location and we almost left but didn’t because it was very late to look for another motel. Thankfully, nothing happened to us or our vehicle but I know I won’t go back again.

Liked: It's affortable, its big and it has a good parking region.
Disliked: They dont pay attention to the details.We arrived and in our room ,the 2 small shampoo bottles were half way used by the previous visitor.The couch was dirty.In our accomondation when they came to "clean", they only changed the towels, they didnt even throw the trush which were a lot and obviously needed to be thrown.It gave us the idea that the cleaning lady was just some random person taken the last moment and not being trained at all.In the reception, they had symbom- icon of their personal religion.

Safety Concerns and Inconveniences

Liked: Convenient location.
Disliked: The area felt unsafe, with many people smoking weed throughout the complex, including on the stairs leading to the room. The breakfast options were very limited, and there were no elevators, making it difficult to carry luggage to the second floor.

Liked: Staff got it ready early so we could check in early.
Disliked: Location
