Liked: Ease of access. Dog friendly..easy route South on M5 as,well as going North.Great shower- powerful.Receptionist really friendly.Close to services and shops for sbacks/ food.Tea and coffee making facilities.Great value for money
Disliked: Not enough loo paper in room.!! Needs a refresh as bathroom looks tired and well used.

Disliked: I would like to express my total disagreement with the £5 charge that was made after I had completed my room booking. This charge was not informed at any time before finalizing the reservation and was only notified to me through a later message.Furthermore, I have been informed that this charge, along with the charge for the car park, only applies to bookings made through Booking.com, which I find lacking in transparency, as this information should have been clearly stated before confirming the reservation.

Cheap and functional. A discreet...

Liked: Plenty of clean pillows, towels and linen. The room was very cheap. We needed two nights for a visit to Gloucester and it well worth the short drive. When we told the clerk we were coming back for a second night he was amazed. I don't think everybody comes here to sleep.Very little noise from the motorway. The countryside behind the motel is unspoilt.
Disliked: The room hadn't been aired and stank of training shoes and armpits. It was late in the evening and we had to throw open the windows.About 0300hrs the laundry service comes to the rear of the premises to wheel some heavy and extremely noisy trolleys right past the windows and out to the car park. You won't sleep through that.A bag of crisps and a bag of Maltesers came to £5.60 so you'd be better off walking across to the services.

Cheap but not clean

Liked: Despite the intense vinegar smell, the bathroom was filled with mould in every crook and corner. The carpet appeared grimey as well, I didn't dare walk over it without shoes. It is in desperate need of updating although for that price not necessarily expected. Cleanliness is however not something to compromise on regardless of the price.
