Great staff, fine for one...

Liked: Location was good. Staff were excellent. Wifi was fine and bed was comfy. Extra pillows provided too
Disliked: Room outdated and radiator had broken buttons. Could not lock balcony door also due to broken handle. Tv remote felt sticky/gritty on buttons. Bathroom had broken tiles and stained bath. Slight musty smell in bedroom.

Liked: Surprisingly quiet, with lovely staff. It's still a motorway night stop, but it's a very decent one.

Liked: The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful , she smiled a lot. In the morning another receptionist asked us how everything was and smiled told us where we could get breakfast.
Disliked: Another chair in the room.

Liked: The staff were lovely and very kind. They gave our 4 legged friend lots of extra cuddles because he comes into the xl category. Our room (41) was clean and tidy with a balcony on looking the lake. It was a lovely view and was very peaceful. Me and my partner enjoyed sitting out there with a cuppa, listening to the birds. We had many trips into Lockerbie (which is a 10-15 min drive away) to the shops and for food at one of the pubs. We even went to Dumfries to a castle and had a wonderful afternoon in the grounds soaking up the weather. Overall our weekend trip was filled with positive memories.
Disliked: Unfortunately our booking didn't come with the breakfast which it states in the booking com bio. So we got it from the breakfast kitchen next door. We wouldn't recommend it, it was terrible
