Liked: This hotel delivers basic accommodation at a very low rate.

Perfect and great value for...

Liked: Nice setting with plenty of grass areas to walk around. Even a small Air Ambulance monument. Also there is plenty of choice in regards to eating in the food courts nearby.
Disliked: Nothing serious and nothing that would put me off staying again. Some fittings and panels in the bathroom need updating. Shower and bath switching wasnt working. So bath and shower were both running at the same time.

Disappointed

Liked: The room I booked was meant to be a family room so 1 double bed and a sofa bed, instead it was a double bed and a single bed and a mattress on the floor, the room smelt damp and also of cigarette smoke. The bedding and towels didn't have a nice smell to them either

We are out for Good...

Liked: Good size room with comfy bed, coffee and tea facilities. Shower fit for purpose and a hair dryer. Quiet area, free view tv available and free WIFI.
Disliked: Felt a little like staying in Colditz behind Electric gates. Room had strange musty odour so we had to keep window open. The sofa bed in the room was rather stained so I did not want to sit on it but there was only one other chair in the room so one of us had to sit on the bed. Web site says 15 minute walk from local pub, this was a Toby carvery who on a Friday evening was shut for 9.30pm and when went for Carvery on the Saturday at 8pm made us feel that uncomfortable and that the staff just wanted to chat, so not a pleasant experience. We were visiting family and thought the days would be ideal as a base but would not return unless desperate.
