Bad
Liked: My initial reservation was for what i thought was 2 beds. When my son, spouse, and I entered the room there was 1 king... we all walked back down to make an adjustment at the front desk and that's where things went... astray...
Disliked: In asking to switch rooms the night manager laughed, said he watched us on camera the entire time and was slightly surprised that we all didn't go in the room. Myself and my spouse stayed in the hall while my teenage son went in the room. The manager said, so, you need 2 beds? Then proceeded to say "i've seen a lot of things in this hotel. I thought with 1 bed maybe you and the Mrs were going to show the boy the ropes. Teach him how things are done". Legitimate quote... He then gave us a different room with 2 beds - My door had stab marks from a knife in it. The 2 chairs at the desk had multiple stains on them. All of them were a bodily fluid of some type. Including blood. We laughed at how hilariously awful this place was. We checked in and within 30minutes checked out and went to a different hotel. This hotel smelled like a combination of weed, cigarettes, and vaping. Along with sadness and regret. Pretty sure the woman in the elevator was tweaking from a recent crack hit... when letting the desk manager (now a different guy) know of all the issues he shook his head in agreement and knew exactly which room had the knife marks in the door. I told him about the chairs and he said yep, sounds right. I'll let maintenance know... then went back to playing on his phone... 0/5 stars. Maybe .5/5 stars purely for the experience and laughter.

just for one night, it...
Disliked: door in the bathroom was flaking paint at the bottom, the walk with the ironing board had a big hole.

Days Inn Hell
Liked: The hotel's location is central to shopping areas and eateries. There was a polite and helpful older gentlemen who worked on the night shift. He seemed to be the only competent hotel staff member to address customer concerns.
Disliked: The inside decor is worn and outdated. The rear exit door was broken so anyone could walk in. It seemed like motel vibes. Despite the high room prices. The elevator was broke during my entire week stay. Trash and towels were left outside room doors for pick up. The hotel's room and turndown service seemed non-existent. Breakfast was basic (cereal/waffles/coffee/juice/milk). The hotel staff seemed unwilling to address concerns especially when I was "mysteriously" double charged the next day after paying my booking fee. Which I am still waiting to be resolved. This hotel would be the last place I recommend patronizing.

Just what we needed!
Liked: Super friendly front desk staff. They were quick and accommodating. We only stayed the one night but it was a pleasant stay. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Pillows were a little small but they give you 3.
