Days Inn by Wyndham Virginia Beach Town Center, Virginia Beach

Liked: Great room; very clean; it had all the items we wanted; would definitely stay again.

Liked: There were absolutely no positives about the Days Inn at Virginia Beach. Therefore, I will never stay at another one again.
Disliked: When we arrived at the Days Inn, we weren't greeted in a friendly manner at all. When going to check in, the young man, Shrey, asked for my ID card, and I gave him my military ID. He asked if I had a driver's licence, and since I had misplaced it before the trip I said no, and he told me the military ID would be fine to check in. He interrupted helping me check-in to help another guest, and then an older man came out to help us. He very rudely refused to accept my military ID because it had expired two months ago. I was unaware of this because I have never had any problems using it in the past couple of months. Even though I had that, and the credit card I used to pay for the room, and he understood the room was already paid for, he still refused to let us stay at the hotel with no apologies. We then left, and after an hour of searching, we found another hotel that was much nicer and they were happy to accommodate us. I will never stay at a Days Inn again.

Disliked: Toilet inoperable upon arrival. Roaches!!!!Terrible pillows. Heater made strange noises. All things reported. Only toilet addressed.

Disliked: It was dirty, spiders everywhere, the night help was inconsiderate. One of the rooms I had spiderwebs in the room. In my room the TV only showed one channel the entire time I was visiting. I complained to the front desk but nothing was done nor did anyone try to make me feel comfortable.
