Liked: Great room; very clean; it had all the items we wanted; would definitely stay again.

Liked: There were absolutely no positives about the Days Inn at Virginia Beach. Therefore, I will never stay at another one again.
Disliked: When we arrived at the Days Inn, we weren't greeted in a friendly manner at all. When going to check in, the young man, Shrey, asked for my ID card, and I gave him my military ID. He asked if I had a driver's licence, and since I had misplaced it before the trip I said no, and he told me the military ID would be fine to check in. He interrupted helping me check-in to help another guest, and then an older man came out to help us. He very rudely refused to accept my military ID because it had expired two months ago. I was unaware of this because I have never had any problems using it in the past couple of months. Even though I had that, and the credit card I used to pay for the room, and he understood the room was already paid for, he still refused to let us stay at the hotel with no apologies. We then left, and after an hour of searching, we found another hotel that was much nicer and they were happy to accommodate us. I will never stay at a Days Inn again.

Liked: The room was clean. It was very quiet. The property was close to shopping and restaurants as well as to the beach.
Disliked: Facility was clean but very, very run down. The floor in the bathroom was falling through to space below. There was a large piece of the bathroom door missing, the side that fits up against the door jam. There were numerous outside lights that dim and flickering. The continental breakfast was very limited. There were 2 kinds of cereal, a couple of you in refrigerator, only sliced white bread and I do not recall seeing much to put on it. The second day, there was only 1 slice of bread out. We left on Sunday and have yet to receive our $5.00 room key refund.

Liked: I have stayed here twice. The only thing nice was the price
Disliked: The dresser drawers were dirty inside(crumbs/dirt/sunflower seeds) so we couldn't use our dresser. The was trash between the wall and head of bed. We even seen dead COCKROACHES between the baseboards and carpet. I literally brought everything home and threw it in my dryer so I didn't bring anything unwanted home with me. I will never stay there again! And I never should have stayed, I should have demanded my money back.
