The sheets were dirty so I slept on top of the bed covers. Thank God I always bring a little throw blanket. There were police everywhere outside when I woke up! The man at the front desk said someone had died and they were investigating. Not my choice of hotel the next time I visit St. Pete! The staff was very nice, but geez!

Liked: The front desk ladies were very friendly when I checked-in and the woman who was attending the breakfast was very apologetic and was trying to get stuff out as fast as she could. Coffee was being made and I think she was supposed to be off-duty already. She actually went and filled my coffee cup back in the kitchen while it was still making! Her name was Andrea and deserves a raise!
Disliked: The sheets were not changed on the bed and were dirty. The breakfast was literally non-existent! I came down at 9am and there was no coffee made, no food except for some oranges, and a lot of hungry looking people sitting around.

Planned to check in at 12:30pm and pay the extra $20 for early check in. I asked for a bottom level room. Front desk clerk said it wouldn't be available till 3pm. He told me if I came back then he'd make sure I got one. I came back at 3 and there were about 15 people waiting. He'd given one a room someone was in already. Had to change that. Lots of them had used Booking.com but their confirmation wasn't sent over. Had to wait for that. When it was my turn he said there were no bottom floor rooms available! I reminded him what he promised - he didn't care. Called for a blanket at 9:40 pm. Clerk said he couldn't give me it till 11pm. Got it at 11:30ish. AC didn't work good. If you weren't right beside it you were HOT - miserable night! Pool was supposed to close at 10pm but people were out there till after midnight. No carpet in rooms made it gross. Sandy! I will not stay here again!

Liked: Tylor, the young man on reception the night we booked in. Reception was heaving with people trying to check-in, people who were already staying there whose room cards didn't work, people who had booked but the system said they had no booking. How he remained calm is a miracle.
Disliked: Our booking was supposed to include breakfast, none provided. The room cards worked intermittently. The room wasn't cleaned in 9 days, no fresh towels. Water kept going off or was cold. Toilet cistern didn't refill automatically, had to do it manually most times, the pool wasn't open on some days then when it was there were no sun loungers.

Terrible experience! Price gouging

Liked: It was awful. We lost our home. We reserve with booking, we arrive there tired at night they said they didn’t have any rooms ready. However they cancel our reservation with Booking and said they only could help us by booking direct with them. Then without our permission and in front of us in reception cancel our booking. Did one direct with them and told us it was our lucky day. Gave us the same room we booked with booking and charged us much more. I was too tired to argue. The next day I told them that was price gouging and that I was going to report them. They asked me to leave. I didn’t. Place didn’t have a remote control, no a piece of paper or pen, air conditioner water leaked under beds, room all wet, smells bad. Terrible experience.

Sign at the front desk the next morning states no breakfast. Was informed they didn’t get their truck last week. I checked out that morning
