It was an experience, just...
Liked: The staff was friendly and they were helpful about keeping cost down
Disliked: Our first room was filled with bugs dead and alive. We were moved directly above that room and there were bugs everywhere around the door and everywhere we went.

Bad
Liked: The hotel was in horrible condition. I think it was just bought, but should not be available until fixed up. There were dead bugs in the rooms, frayed carpet, air conditioners were extremely noisy. I was embarrassed that I had booked this hotel for my ffiends. I have never seen a hotel in this condition. It is a disgrace for Wyndyam
Disliked: Bad condition, bugs, terrible towels, horrible noises coming from a/c. Concrete outside was in bad condition.

Liked: The sheets seemed to be clean.
Disliked: The entire place was disgusting! The carpet was caked with dirt and ripped in many places. The bedding looked as if it was from the 1950's, and they have continued to use it for the last 70 years. I am not entirely sure how it has the rating it does on Booking.

Basic but quiet.
Liked: Quiet, clean and basic hotel. No bells and whistles, but better than two stars. Pool was open and reasonably maintained. Breakfast was better than some we have experienced.
Disliked: A bit tired and in need of some maintenance and TLC.

Tolerable for one overnight stay...
Liked: Convenient location along the interstate. Most economical among the few motels in the location. Near restaurants.Check in host was friendly and at the desk when I arrived.
Disliked: Window panes were dirty on the outside -- looked like they had not been washed for a long time. Bed mattress too hard-- had back ache in the morning. Floor in bathroom and sink area could have been cleaner. Carpet frayed on the ends. No soft sitting chair. The one chair in the room was hard backed, and the seat cover coating was flaking off. No water drinking glasses.The check in host did not have my reservation in his computer. So it took far more time to check me in as a "walk in". But the total cost for the room was a couple of dollars less than the booking.com discount reservation cost (which the host did not even have).
