Stinky, dirty place in bad...

Liked: This place smelled bad. Location is also bad. And lied to me about a Refund for a Medical Cancellation i made a week in advance for a 2nd room i purchased. Owner said he already did cancel the reservation, for full refund, and refused to respond to 2 emails from Booking.com to state he did authorize the refund. Then i gave him an email address to send the approval to. And he refused to do it. Blamed booking.com. So then Booking.com wud not refund my money for the 2nd reservation. Even though when i made the reservation it said it was refundable. So i got charged the room price minus $5.95, as what i didnt know is cancellation fee was the room rate. So that was a trick as that was not disclosed to me at time of booking. It said it was refundable, but they meant only 5.95. So i wont be making any bookings ahead of time as even if it says it is refundable it cud be a lie and i wont know.
Disliked: Unethical. Said i cud cancel, yet charged me a full room price as the cancellation fee. Done dealing with scams like this. Cant trust booking.com to vet its properties and fully disclose the truth. As it presented this property as having a cancellation, without telling me that the cancellation fee was the price of the room. Calling prooerties directly from now on.

Disliked: Understandably, the area around the hotel was dirty and a bit unkempt as a result of summer flooding, but the room could have been a bit cleaner. Floors were not ckean.
