For the location price was...

Liked: Outside of property was promising looking. Clean and kept up. Staff was really nice. Room was clean however towels were thin, worn and dingy. Bathroom needed to upkeep as floor was cracked and there was rust on the ceiling tiles.
Disliked: Bathroom towels were dingy, thin, worn and holey. One towel had a stain that we weren’t sure if was even clean or not. Breakfast was no more than cereal and coffee. There was a waffle maker but the breakfast area did t look very appealing.

Days Inn in Royston offers...

Liked: I stayed in Room 102, which was reasonably priced. The staff at this motel were friendly & attentive. Location in Royston was quiet, peaceful & within just a few miles of the person I came to see. Also, it was not far from city amenities of Royston, GA,, which included major brand fast food & other restaurants, (i.e. MacDonald's, Bojangles, etc). This motel also had an excellent Direct TV assortment of free TV programs to watch on HD TV, (generally not the practice of more expensive motels/hotels). Normally, when I visit this area, I stay at the Hampton Inn in Hartwell, GA But, this particular weekend, it was almost totally booked, with the remaining rooms priced well beyond what I, as a typical traveler, could pay. For the same price of 1 night there, I got THREE (3) nights at the Days Inn. I'm glad it was (totally booked), as, beside the fact that it had a much larger reception area than Days Inn in Royston, it offered very few amenities I didn't get at Days Inn.
Disliked: NO SHOW STOPPERS TO NOTE: But I wish that had been a daily restocking of some things we normally use when taking a bath or shower, (i.e. shampoo, conditioner, etc), But do understand that these items can add to the cost of day-to-day operation, so that was little concern.
