On par for a Days...

Liked: Staff was attentative and friendly. Check in was a breeze. Main lobby and breakfast areas were clean and in good condition. Room was spacious and seems to have had a refresh of decor and interior fairly recently. Room was overall clean and in good shape. Proximity to the highway and local area restaurants is a plus too.
Disliked: Seems like this location is still the place of choice for construction workers. In the evening hours once they are off work, they do congregate in the main areas to have a few cold ones and smoke. No issues with having a cold one after a long day of work, however, the smoking is an issue since these rooms use wall mounted style single unit ACs and the units pull in fresh air from the open hallway. The smell of smoke quickly fills the room of the no smoking hotel real quick. We alerted the staff and they were quick to attend to the issue. Based on my observations, smoking in front of the rooms causes issues, not so much if they smoke in the pool area or parking lot. Another issue with our stay was the condition of the bath towels. We had several towels that were not clean and had to request additional towels as a result.
