Rooms were very clean and updated. Not even butts in the parking lot. Also close to NY State Fairgrounds.

Bad

Liked: Beds were comfy
Disliked: The room was really dirty. Dust everywhere, mold in the shower walls, there was a brown and orange puddle behind the toilet and the sides of the toilet were dirty, and there was hair behind the toilet. When mentioned to the staff by text message with photos, they sent me an automated message apologizing but didn't correct it. When I went to the front desk in the morning, I spoke with the staff to make sure that I was getting back my deductable for damages and told her I don't want to be held accountable for anything gross in that room. She proceeded to say "we saw the photo. You will get your damage deposit back in 7 days" I thought they didn't see my text message and that it was just automated but by the sounds of it they were trying to ignore my request to get a partial refund for the room given the circumstances or at least a cleaner room. But when I went to the front desk and she said that she saw the messages that I had sent her with the photo and ignored it that made me realize that they knew what they were doing and they knew the hotel rooms were that dirty but they don't care.

A mixed bag.

Liked: This is a budget choice in comparison to the neighbouring options. The evening receptionist was very welcoming and gave us information on local services.
Disliked: The company took two $100 dollar deposits on the room (14th November 24). The morning receptionist was dismissive, and unhelpful regarding refund enquiries. To date (six days after the stay) the deposit remains to be refunded.

Like the hotel but was...

Liked: The lady at the desk on arrival was very friendly, helpful and kind. The beds were clean and comfortable. It was nice having a microwave and refrigerator in room.
Disliked: The bathroom had mold around the baseboards, mold on the shower ceiling. Bathroom ceiling was half painted, tye rest of the ceiling was yellow. The vanity / sink area had pipes showing, unfinished wall. We requested clean towels and beds to be made everyday and it did not happen. The 3rd night when we arrived back to our room at 9:30, we had no clean towels put in our room. I had to go to the office to request clean towels.

Exactly what I would expect...

Liked: Bed appeared to be new and was very comfortable. Pillows also seemed to be new and were great and plentiful. I appreciated and made good use of the amenities - refrigerator and microwave. Felt like a safe area with good lighting. There is also a 24-hour Kinney drugstore across the street which has everything from food to phone chargers.
Disliked: In general, I am not a fan of exterior hotel doors with direct access to the parking lot. As a woman traveling alone, that can be a bit unnerving. Fortunately the area felt safe.

Disliked: Being on the first floor every car shine through my window

Slept Great One Night

Liked: Slept OK...decent bed if that is all you need.
Disliked: Door knob feel off when opened from the inside. Updated??? Or hang a few "Days Inn" pics. NO COFFEE! BREAKFAST INCLUDED?? NOOOOOOOOO!!NOT HERE! SPEND MONEY ON A BETTER DEAL AND WEIGH THE COST YOURSELF. Overall!!! Slept Great only one of the 2 nights and was able to use $100 cash for a deposit vs a credit card. Taco Bell and KFC in backyard.... of that is the kinda food you dig 😉 👌 😏 😜

Liked: Other reviews were not so good but I took a chance. I found the room very clean, above average for a budget hotel. The carpet, bedspread and drapes were fresh unlike some budget places and the desk staff were pleasant and helpful.
