A Nightmare Experience

Disliked: I recently had a truly horrendous stay at this hotel from the moment I checked in.Cleanliness IssuesI was horrified to find blood on the shower curtain and feces on the bathroom door, a dead bug by the coffee pot that appeared to have been there a while, and there was feces on the floor and walls. To make matters worse, there was either feces or vomit on the bed! It was absolutely unacceptable.Smoke Smell in a Non-Smoking RoomDespite booking a non-smoking room, the smell of smoke was very strong, making it hard to breathe. I had to purchase deodorizing spray from the gas station nearby, which did not work to cover the stench. This was far from a fresh environment.Damp TowelsALL of the towels provided were damp. When going to the front desk to request new towels, I was told that they only had three left available and we were four guests. But it's not like we used the shower after seeing the blood-stained curtain anyway. This was incredibly frustrating, as I expected basic amenities.Poor Customer ServiceI tried to cancel my stay due to these issues, but I was informed that I needed to speak with the manager in the morning. The front desk staff was uncaring and unhelpful. To date, I have not received a refund.ConclusionOverall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. It was the most unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, I am sharing my experience with others to prevent them from facing similar issues. BE WARNED!

Exceptional

Liked: The staff were accommodating, courteous, and very nice to us.

Disappointing

Disliked: They double booked the room and some very large scary looking man came in on me at 4:00 a.m.

Superb

overall was not too bad...

Liked: room was clean , bed comfortable, maid service was good food was o.k
Disliked: 3rd floor room facing roadway,,,trafic noise was so horrible we could not sleep 1st two nights ,,,,however noise settled down 3rd night and was tolerable.. sound proofing that those rooms on that side of the building would be a large improvement...

Liked: Very clean, nice breakfast, great location.
Disliked: The bed was way too hard. For someone with back problems, mad it to the point I couldn’t get comfortable. So I was always tired in the morning due to bed being to hard.

We would definitely stay here...

Liked: The location was perfect for us. Close to the things we wanted to do. Smoky Mountain Flea Market was 5 minutes away! Beds were so comfortable. Also Buccees was right up the road.
Disliked: The breakfast was continental and just ok. Bathrooms are really small.
