Price was great, cleanliness was...

Liked: The noise from the expressway near was way too loud, and the cleanliness was something to be desired. The room had a 2 day-old pizza box in it, the bathroom door had drops of something on it, and the furniture was dusty and not wiped clean as you would expect.

Liked: I liked that there was coffee in the room and that a laundry facility was available.
Disliked: The room was dirty—my white socks turned black after just five minutes of walking around. There was a terrible musty smell in the room. The bed sheets had stains of unknown origin, and the refrigerator was filthy.Most importantly, I had to extend my stay for one more day, and as a result, I was charged twice for the $50 deposit, which has not been refunded yet. I know that this motel often forgets to return deposits.Please resolve this issue.

Friendly and reasonably priced

Liked: Amenities were comfortable and staff was friendly.
Disliked: Other tenants locking their car multiple times making the horn go off well after dark. Not something under your control. Only other thing was there was some kind of splatter on the wall in 107.

Bugs, rude staff, broken fridge,...

Liked: Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in shower.
Disliked: Killed 3 cockroaches during a 1 night stay (see photos).Pillows were as flat as possible. We travel with a med that needs to be refrigerated and the mini fridge wasn't getting cold. We asked front desk about it. He came to the room, looked at it and said it's on. My husband said "but isn't not cold." Front desk employee shrugged and said it's fine. For 1 night, with ice in the coolor, the med survived, but it felt rude and dismissive the way the employee handled it.Location is literally right next to highway, which is convenient when you're coming and going, but made it extremely loud at night. No overhead lighting in the room, only lamps and lights mounted to walls, which would have been fine, except 3 bulbs were burned out upon our arrival.

We do not expect to...

Liked: The room was adequate, clean and appropriately stocked; a place to clean up and rest not for a metaphysical experience so this fit the bill.
Disliked: Avoid north side of motel; By GoogleEarth, Interstate 40 is 400 feet and exit ramp is 250 feet from the room; Jake brakes, screaming motorcycles, and missing mufflers made for a restless night; having a box fan for white noise helped. Worse, with reservations already made, we stayed again on the return trip. SMH! I did not see the pet fee ($15) and deposit ($50) while booking the room so the charges were surprises and lost us the savings of the low rate. We saw the "Pet Friendly" rating as an invitation to include our dog. We clean up the deposits our dog makes but, by the site's grassy area, I guess few others do, including the motel. Breakfast? Packaged sweet rolls in the lobby so we had sandwiches from the cooler.
