Awful

Disliked: Heater was awful, loud and ineffective. No carpeting, only 1 blanket, grumpy receptionist. Garbage truck banging in wee hours

Simple, clean, centrally located, and...

Liked: [51yr old female traveling alone. Room was Queen, not King, non-smoking]There's nothing fancy about this hotel, but it met my needs: Safe neighborhood, centrally located, clean, comfortable, had two sink soaps, and shampoo/body wash in the shower (which was unexpected), ice machine, and coffee/juice dispenser up front in the morning. There were also washers/dryers for longer term stays, and I saw a bag in the closet area for one to send laundry out. Unsure who does that, but it was an option. (No "vending machine" with detergent, so bring your own.)"Breakfast" is individually wrapped muffins/danish, orange juice, and hot coffee that are all self serve at the front desk. The complaints about the breakfast being sparse in other reviews made me laugh; what does one expect for $68/night?? All the bedding is bright white and smelled faintly of bleach, which is always a good sign (we RNs love clean). Floors are laminate, not carpet, so pack slippers. The bathroom was small, but clean and I had ample towels and great water pressure. Full sized ironing board, iron, and blow dryer were in the unit. I stayed here over Christmas as the family house was already overflowing, and it was perfect for that need. Nice front office staff :) (The pool and hot tub both looked clean. BTW, all of the pictures of this place are accurate).I'm not sure how full the hotel was when I was there, but I didn't notice a whole bunch of traffic or noise. I was in room 104 downstairs and could park right outside my door. If I had neighbors, I never heard them. The blinds are true black out blinds, so I overslept the first day because they worked so well! I would stay here again and feel comfortable putting up out of town guests. This place is ~ 0.5mi from the freeway (Hwy 101), and ~ 1.5mi-2mi away from the outlets/Giroy Gardens. Sorry for the long review, but the reviews that say, "Great. Clean. Thanks" are simply not helpful.

Worst place I've ever stayed

Liked: That it was close to restaurants
Disliked: The beds were very uncomfortable, one very thin blanket and their idea of breakfast is some off brand small jelly filled pastries and mini muffins with orange juice, coffee and water. Will never stay here again.

Liked: The staff was friendly.
Disliked: When we pulled up, there was a bunch of round clothes lined with clothes hanging. People were hanging outside their rooms, and had totes in front of the rooms, felt really uncomfortable. They stated they had cribs available but stated they had not had any in 5 years. Also the breakfast was a muffin and juice one of the bed had stains on the mattress.

Liked: Location was convenient.
Disliked: The front desk ladies were rude. I spoke with 2 different ladies during my stay there and they were both rude. We noted down that we would arrive around 3-4pm which check in is at 3pm. When we arrived, we're got checked in to a room that was not cleaned yet. We had to wait for another room to be cleaned. I requested for a crib and staff did not bring it. We went in for their "breakfast" in the morning and was told they ran out since they had a lot of check outs in the morning. Apparently they fail to let their customers know that breakfast is on a first come first serve, regardless of their breakfast time. The front desk lady did not even apologize at all for the inconvenience or cared about what they advertised about their breakfast. Since I was unable to get breakfast for my children, I asked for the complimentary hot coco they offer, but coincidentally they also ran out of that. WE ARE NEVER RETURNING! The housekeepers are the only friendly people there. The front desk people are super rude and does not have any customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE unless you don't care about how you're treated or dealing with the unprofessional staffs
