Liked: Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are a little older, but they are clean and still serve the purpose. The location is the best very close to downtown, easy to find. They have a place called "Spirits" that serves adult beverages, and bar food and live entertainment on the weekends. The front desk has a printed schedule of local events happening just in case you are looking for something to do.
Disliked: My door didn't close very well, we had to slam it shut.

Quick stay for the casino

Liked: Jacuzzi tub wouldn’t turn on in the morning, but besides that it was good
Disliked: Jacuzzi tub worked just great the night time but got into the next morning and it wouldn’t work

Liked: The rooms are old but the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Nice sheets and soft towels. Amazing value for money.

This is an excellent property...

Liked: This was the perfect place for this weekend. I met some really neat people for New Years Eve at the bar.We love Dubuque, and this place, with its awesome and scary parking lot, is a perfect launching pad for exploring the area.
Disliked: You have to be really careful about where you turn off the highway for this place.

Liked: Room was great. I continue to be annoyed by booking.com taking over my call to the motels. The pattern I saw on this 15 day trip was that (between West Texas and eastern Wisconsin), the 3rd party intervenors helped achieve lower costs in the eastern part of the journey and were associated with higher costs as I went west.
