Dump of a property, excellent...

Liked: VERY helpful and friendly staff. Excellent front desk clerk and housekeeping staff.
Disliked: What a dump. I mean seriously, is the owner too cheap for some fresh paint? The rooms though clean are beat up. Burn marks on the tub, shower head pulling away from the wall, creaky aircon. The "fitness room" is a joke. No weights, just elliptical, bike and treadmill in a tiny room. I used the first two and each was broken -- settings didn't work so it was on heavy resistance whether you wanted it or not. Worst motel in a long time, and not cheap.

Liked: The bed coverings were stained, but that was the only thing that really bothered me during my stay. It did look a little gross.
Disliked: stained bed covertiny breakfast eating area.With no vacancy the area was over crowded both days.

Liked: When I arrived the staff was great I was looking forward to relaxing. I got the keys to my room and when I got to it the smell of cigarettes hit me in the face. The bedspread was stained and it had a big cigarette burn right in the center of it. The air conditioner did not work. I went to the front desk and they were kind enough to give me a different room. The air conditioner worked great in the second room however the bedding was still stained up and it looked like dog hair on the sheets. This place is in desperate need of a good update! I've never been to a motel that used paper to fix a table by folding up paper to keep it from wobbling. Holes in the curtains, cracked tiles in the bathroom... It's a motel I will never return to.

It was a good location...

Liked: The location was great! Checking in and out was easy and the staff was courteous and friendly.
Disliked: It was an older place, we had to climb stairs to get to our room. The room smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals, so we kept the door open off and on.
