The room was cold and...

Disliked: I came with a tractor to volunteer and help people after the hurricane. I booked the room for 8 days but left a day early. I was told by one person let them know a day ahead and another person 24 hrs ahead and I would be refunded. I let them know at around 6:00 pm Saturday the 7th but the girl at the desk said she didn't know how to do that so she would call someone and ask them then call me in my room but didn't. When I checked out the person at the front could not speak much English and told me no refund. To get a refund for the 8th I would of have to tell them on the 6th. That's 48 hrs. I asked for someone else to talk to and he just said yes but offered no help. He probably didn't understand what I was saying. I think a business should at the very least have someone who speaks English available when there's a problem. I came from Wisconsin to North Carolina to help people after a disaster and Days Inn was only interested and getting another 100 dollar room fee from me. Shame on you people.

Liked: They had breakfast.
Disliked: The room was dirty/dusty. The carpet was filthy. The mattress itself was dirty and covered up by 3 mattress covers. The rooms should be cheaper based off the cleanliness of the rooms.

Disliked: The lady told me at check in they would only come in our room if blinds were open and we left on Saturday and left everything out and we came back and someone had Been in our room because our stuff was moved and bed made

Liked: The manager treated me like I was a dog... I did sneak my dog in witch Bella is a 10 lb cheweenwee dog found out that they do accept pet just with a charge was will to pay and cleaned the whole room for the housekeeperCalling me and 3 children a pig and we were nasty people.. I will never be back to this hotel

Disliked: They call the room on the 29 the day after we checked in to tell us that we owe 100 more dollars. Then tell us that we had to check out on the 30th because we couldn't come up with another 100 dollars. We didn't have any extra money. We went to asheville because my old man had to have eye surgery. I took my car off for scrap just to come up with the money for the room. It was messed up the way they acted the day after we check in wanting more money. All the money I had left was 20 dollars I didn't have a extra 100 to give them. There was blood on the side of the ac and all in the floor.
