Staff makes the property shine!

Liked: Staff was above expectations. I accidentally double booked our stay, and the staff helped me make the correction with absolutely no questions! I would recommend this property to anyone in the Sikeston area!
Disliked: The bathroom wasn't super clean - but a small adjustment - it wouldn't deter me from staying here each trip through Missouri!

Liked: The hotel needs a face lift on the outside, the colors are dated. New color schemes should be visible upon entering. The carpet colors and paint is old. Dark colors are depressing, vibrant colors feel exclusive, executive.
Disliked: Complete renovation on the outside and inside. In all honesty, corporate doesn’t care. The employees are subjected to management personnel that not interested in appearance. Performance suffers when corporate doesn’t care. Training is very important. The standard of business morality is on the decline. If I were the owner or upper management, I would personally visit, evaluate, work for improvements, execute the improvements and monitor the results.

Liked: The lady at the front desk was very nice. She really made us feel welcome. I feel she went above and beyond expectations. The lobby was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, except for the couch/bed.
Disliked: The protein (meat and eggs) was gone from the breakfast selection when we arrived about 8am. That was dissapointing. The bathroom floor was not clean, it had hair on it, and not the color of any of ours. The pullout for the couch to make into a bed was broken. The water pressure was less than adequate. I could barely wash my hair because of the lack of pressure. The back yard needs a lot of work. It was uncomfortable to look at the state of the back "patio" area. At least clean it up even if it is not a usable area. The floor in the room where the frig was needs some work. It would have been nice for this to have been left a second bath, or even half bath, for the size of the expected party you market the room to. I sound complainy...but you asked.
