Liked: Exceptionally located walking distance to shops and restaurants. Direct river access. Beautiful fall foliage this time of year. Cabins are adorable. Food at the restaurant is a must. And we loved the on site spa as well.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: It was beautiful landscaping. Friendly staff
Disliked: Room was extremely small, coffee maker/tea pot was confusing, heater didn’t work but maintenance man brought us a portable heater, but then it became extremely hot in the room all night. The spa was very expensive and hardly had any openings.

Liked: Our room on the main property was lovely. The meadows & gardens are beautiful. Restaurant was really good with great service.
Disliked: Really sad to have missed the opportunity to be on the river as this property had direct access. This was not disclosed about the property in any direct way. Happy to hear they r building a new pool & jacuzzi on the main property as the existing pool on their annex property across the highway was unappealing.

Liked: It was very quiet. Free uses of Fender guitar, but needed new strings.
Disliked: Over priced for both room and food. The guide was misleading. Room said garden view, and what we got were all trees.

Liked: Well kept grounds and pretty environment, nice staff. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Creek side cabins are right next to the highway. Very loud trucks from 6am. Be careful to check the location of your accommodation as the website doesn't specify.Housekeeping was lazy. They didn't make the bed or take away dirty towels. Just dumped new towels on the unmade bed. Also did not replenish the coffee/tea supplies.

Beautiful redwood retreat with river...

Liked: It’s tucked in the redwood forest. Beautiful gardens. Great room. Amazing shower!! The spa has yoga in the morning which is next level… great cafe and food and excellent staff.
Disliked: Heating and cooling is a bit of a game to get right… the cabins don’t seem insulated so I was turning the heat on and off a lot to get a nice ambient temperature. But honestly it’s not hard to do. No desk or small table in the single king bed room which is a missed opportunity.
