Comfy beds, but very noisy!

Liked: Beds are really comfortable. If you want a quiet place, this is not it! Cars driving by at all hours blasting their music made it rough to sleep. Might as well have stayed on Bourbon! There was no insulation at all! Very dingy and in need of some updates and repainting. Very pleasant staff.

Liked: The location was excellent. Very walkable to attractions, stores & restaurants. The staff was very helpful & friendly.
Disliked: The air conditioner was funky. It did not work that well. I asked for a quiet room because I am a light sleeper. Our room overlooked the parking garage which was quite noisy with cars coming & going. The pool water was COLD. They need to update the rooms.

Liked: Clean, comfy, jacuzzi tub was a nice surprise. Spacious. Happy stay.

I don’t plan to return

Liked: Onsite parking is secure but costs an additional $50+$6.63 tax. The room was good but the door handle in room 228 falls off. I could put it in and turn it but if it was an emergency, dark or smoky it would be difficult and dangerous. Another family was given keys to our room and tried to enter 5 hours after we checked in.

Stunning incompetence

Liked: Good location and price
Disliked: Staff told us the computer was down and our keys were not working so when we’re came back in the evening we couldn’t go to bed. They actually argued with us telling us there was nothing they could do. After a long wait and a lot of begging they finally let us into our rooms. They charge every room for incidentals (not put a hold on your card) although there’s nothing to buy here. We couldn’t get a bottle of water even though they have water and other employees did give us some. It’s employee discretion if you get water. They dressed us down at check in and verbally berated us for using booking.com. If constant inconvenience and abuse is worth saving a few bucks then this hotel is for you.

Very bad hotel experience that...

Liked: Location of hotel was good. In the French Quarter but not noisy. Water in shower was hot.
Disliked: On the first day we entered our room, the brand new bath towels had make up stains on them. The sink did not drain well. The room was very dimly lit. Light flickered, TV did not work. Noise in room all night on one of the days (may be the HVAC system). Staff said they would fix TV and did not. They also promised to switch to a different room and then said they could not. They said since we booked on 3rd party, they could not offer any price break. Customer service was not helpful and no follow through. Fire marshalls were called two days in a row as hotel was not safe after heavy rain and thunder. Will not recommend.
