I had high hopes

Liked: Beautiful old home. Loved the location, right by the water.
Disliked: Located on a busy street - - lots of cruising and loud cars. Needs better sound insulation - - we could definitely hear our neighbors. We had a terrible breakfast experience. They only serve for an hour and there aren’t enough tables to accommodate everyone at once. The servers were completely overwhelmed and didn’t even notice our arrival. We had to approach them to get any service and it took over an hour to get our meal.

Liked: Scenic location! Our room on 3rd floor had a balcony with sea views! The staff was super friendly and kind. Breakfasts were generous and delicious! This property, while away from downtown, is easily walkable and adjacent to the beach and a beautiful park. Also walking distance/close to Cook Street Village - a wonderful neighborhood of shops & restaurants!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Liked: Nice location, great views of the oceans
Disliked: Grounds were weedy and unkempt, interior was musty smelling, badly needed paint and touching up in many areas. Furnishings were tired, old, and not well matched. Carpet in or room was a dirty shag.

Great stay and wonderful staff.

Liked: Breakfast was phenomenal. Location across from the ocean was perfect for evening walks.
Disliked: We liked it as it is.
