Great choice for a trip...
Liked: It was lovely and clean, with a lovely welcome. Our room wasn’t ready because they had to rearrange some guests. They offered us a drink for free and then because we’d to wait a while longer - they included breakfast free of charge. The bar was comfortable and clean and there was a children’s area so the kids were happy while we waited. The room was very clean with a small fridge. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well.Breakfast was outstanding!! There was a large range and we all had varied things - nothing was too much trouble - the toast came to the table steaming hot! Which I don’t think I’ve ever had anywhere! All the ingredients were local and excellent quality! I had boiled eggs and soldiers and they were perfect! Everything was piping hot. Loved it! Location - excellent! Thank you for a lovely stay we will definitely be back
Disliked: The only thing was the location of our room - it was directly next to the children’s games room! I mean we opened out door and we were in it - right next to the air hockey machine. When we stay again I’d just request a different room.

Lovely staff, great location.
Liked: We went as a family to see the illuminations. We booked two rooms for out group which included 4 adults and 3 children aged 6 and 7 years. The hotel staff were all very helpful, friendly and couldn't do more to help. The location was perfect for the lights, access to the trams and beach front. There was a lovely Italian just round the corner which served quality food which even the children devoured. At the hotel there is a small arcade room. There is also a bar with seating. There is a pool room with air hockey. Make sure you have some coins for them all. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice for the children and adults and you are served at the table so food cooked to order. Delicious hash browns. Our rooms were on the small side. My room was on the front of the building and we had a view of the big roller coaster at Pleasure Beach. The room was very compact with a small double bed and single bed. It had a TV, fridge (which was very handy), table and stools. The bathroom was clean with a good extractor fan.
Disliked: The room was on the small side. We swapped beds on the second night so I shared the double bed with my 6 year old whilst my husband went in the single bed as the first night we struggled to get comfy.

Overall a great stay and...
Liked: On arrival, we were met by the night porter (I think his name is Keith) and he was great- very welcoming and sorted us out straight away! We were on the top floor in room 11 so there were quite a few stairs before getting to the room. This wasn’t too much of an issue, but my mum struggled a bit. The next morning we had a fantastic full English breakfast (but you can pretty much order what you would like) this is where we met mags. She made us feel very comfortable and after talking about the struggle for my mother on the stairs- we were kindly offered a room on the ground floor. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the blankets and pillows kept you warm or cool through the night. After 2 nights- we were asked if we needed any refills on toilet paper, tea/coffee & towels- we felt very well looked after! We stayed 3 nights here and will definitely be back when we come to Blackpool.
Disliked: The only negative thing I would add is about the stairs up to the top rooms. But we would know next time to ask specifically for a room on the ground floor.
