Please clean better

Disliked: The room was filthy, it looked like it had not been clean in months! The sheet smelled like an old person, the sheets did not look like they were changed except for the top comforter. The bathroom sink had some particles that's been left there for years because it's stuck on the handle and the knobs needed to be replaced it was missing the "hot" label. The most disgusting part is the hand towel had makeup and hair on it! I drop my ring on the floor it fell under the bed there were moldy cereal! The fixtures were layered with dust, like it's been probably months maybe more since with a swipe of a finger it did not scrape off. I hope your staff cleans better ! I did not want to write this review but booking emailed me I feel you should know. Because the location of your hotel is perfect.

Too dirty !

Liked: The hotel is well located for walking to the harbor, its restaurants, the beach or the walking trails that crisscross the heights of Dana Point. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi are very enjoyable. We were provided with a cot, which was convenient.
Disliked: This was by far one of our worst experiences in a hotel in the United States. Two ladies were very nice to us at the reception but all the other employees were rude, cold and not at all helpful. We asked for a high chair for our baby at breakfast, we were curtly told that there was none, while we later found it ourselves at the back of the cafeteria! The room was disgusting. Under the beds, a thick layer of dust but also dirty socks, underpants and old papers left by previous occupants. The bathroom was old and unwelcoming and the shower curtain moldy. Finally at breakfast, undrinkable coffee and very poor quality food. Finally, we were charged for parking! $15 per day to stay in this huge parking lot that was barely half occupied.

Liked: It was easy to find and in a fantastic walking location directly at the harbor. There was enough parking on site for an extra fee.
Disliked: The breakfast was very bland it would have been really nice to have a whole weather product.
