Wonderful property in a beautiful...
Liked: On arrival the location is stunning. The castle itself is beautiful in its surroundings. Our room is quite possibly the nicest room we have ever stayed in, comfortable and the character is everything we could have hoped for. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but partook of the bar menu. The Angus burger is one of the best I've had in a very long time and the vegan option, my wife assured me was fantastic. The staff are polite, professional and extremely welcoming. I cannot recommend Dalmunzie castle highly enough.
Disliked: We couldn't find fault with our stay.

Superb
Liked: Stunning surroundings, very peaceful with walks nearby, staff absolutely amazing, catered to all our needs and really paid attention to us being there and any needs we may have had. Also spotlessly clean

Disappointing
Liked: comfy bed
Disliked: no phone signal, mould on bathroom roof, dirty dated bath, sink in bedroom, very dated.

Underwhelming. Much room for improvement
Liked: Secluded in a wonderful valley. The four poster bed was very luxurious. It had a tired but homely feel with lovely log fires
Disliked: The radiator in the bathroom was cold and needed bled. The heating system was noisy. The walls were surprisingly thin in such an old property.A member of staff actually let herself into our room whilst we were getting dressed for dinner, apologised but then reappeared and entered our room uninvited again because a previous guest was looking for a pack of cigarettes they believed they’d left in one of the drawers (they hadn’t!). Clearly she hadn’t heard of knocking! We got a round of drinks by way of apology but not without having to ask for it.Talking of drinks, the alcohol prices are astronomical. £7.75 for a pint of Guinness and the cheapest bottles of wine on the menu start at almost £40
