Amazing one night stay

Liked: Very fancy, but welcoming. Traditional Scottish inside with modern style. Very clean and tidy. Staff were so welcoming. Food was delicious
Disliked: Tv could possibly do with an upgrade. But everything else was fantastic

A great place to stay...

Liked: The location was ideal for my visit, in a quiet neighbourhood, with a large free car park and a welcome at reception. The standard room was of a decent size, immaculately clean with a nice en-suite bath & shower. The bed was very comfy and the room temperature was perfectly controlled with free wifi and plenty of charging points. I booked for room and breakfast, and when I had dinner in the hotel they charged only for the glass of wine, on account of the fact that the steaks were not available - very generous of them. The chicken dish I had instead was excellent, and the restaurant with round tables and banquette seating was a pleasure to dine in. I was very happy with my one-night stay and would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Disliked: Nothing serious to impact my enjoyment - the view from the window was nothing special - just a rooftop, but not a problem for me.
