Liked: A great location for getting into Edinburgh city centre without having to stay or drive into the busy city. The pool was nice and warm and the changing rooms have so much space. Didn’t interact much with staff but when we did they were nice.
Disliked: The hotel rooms are very confusing to get around. This is the second time I’ve stayed and still can’t figure out the easiest way to get around. I also wish the restaurants & room service had some more variety and better options for children.

Liked: The grounds are amazing ! Facilities are exceptional and overall had an amazing time and stay. Will definitely recommend and will be returning ourselves.

Liked: The staff were all super friendly. The receptionist we met when we arrived (Sabeen I think she was called?) was really nice and helpful. Food was lovely. Room was comfortable and spacious. Pool was nice and warm.

Nice walks around the hotel,...

Liked: The location was beautiful, even though it is quite out the way it says in the description and we loved going on walks around the hotel in the snow! I’d suggest going in the cinema room, it is new and wasn’t in the description but is very worth it if you want to chill out, The beds was comfy and rooms are a good size, Rooms get warm easy which was good, Good things on the telly.
Disliked: We visited the restaurant in the hotel , The main one. We ordered 2 steaks . 1 medium and 1 medium rare. They gave us them the wrong way around as we ordered 2 different sauces . We did let them know as one of us really can’t stand the blood. They was cooperative and took them away then brought some fresh ones out, but then again they was the wrong way around again. We felt like the staff was looking at us not very nice after and while we was waiting for our fresh steaks , but we didn’t bring it back up as for that reason, and just swapped them ourselves. Overall we did enjoy our meal in the end.
